FAQ – (Fabric, Style, Colors & Quality)
1. How can I be sure that the colour on your screen will match the fabric?
· Please do not rely on what you see on your monitor, please always order the swatch via our 'order swatch' page before you place the order for dresses. This way you will be sure of the colour you are ordering.
2. Are your dresses well made?
· We assure that our dresses are really good value for money and better quality that you find in any local shops. Please click here>>
3. Can I order some matching fabric to decorate my cake?
· Yes you can order a minimum of 1 meter for £ 15. Please go to our accessories page. Click Here>>
4. Can I order a matching bolero?
· Yes you can order matching bolero for £39.00. Please go to our accessories page. Click Here>>
5. Can I order a matching wrap?
· Matching wraps costs £39. Please go to our accessories page. Click Here>>
6. Can I order my flower girl dress in matching tulle (to match the adult bridesmaids)? As the dresses you offer comes only in white and ivory base?
· We have some matching tulles for selected colours, please e-mail us for more information.
7. I have a colour in my head, I can't find it on any websites who offer bridesmaids dresses or even local bridal shops, can you help?
· We have had brides who have imagined a colour and want it for bridesmaids; just because you imagine a colour it does not mean that a fabric supplier will actually has that shade and colour of your imagination.
· we suggest go to your local paint shop, and look through the paint colours, you will find 1000's of colours, if you can send us a paper colour cutting, then we will match the closest colour in our fabric chart. Please remember we have over 120 colours to match, in satin and taffeta.
8. I am looking for silk fabric for my bridesmaids, can you help?
· We do offer silk bridesmaids dresses in our shop based in Suffolk. Please ring us on 01473 213034 or e-mail us, with as much information, we will do our best to help you
· Please refer our measurement guide, and please measure each bridesmaid using a tape measure and then order the right size, we do not take responsibility if you order wrong sizes.
2. Is there a particular way I need to measure the bridesmaids?
· Please watch the video 'how to measure'
3. My junior bridesmaid is tall, the length shown that fits her body size is 4 inches short, can I order extra length?
· Yes you can measure from shoulder to floor, and let us know via e-mail what length you need, we can keep extra length for a small charge of £10.
1. Do you accept returns? Or exchange the dresses to a different colour?
· We do not accept returns, as the dresses are not ready to buy from stock, they are made for you, please read the terms and conditions before placing the order.
2. What if I don't like the colour when the dresses come to me?
· We insist that you order the swatch before you order the dresses, so that you can see the colour before you order.
1. Can I iron the dresses?
o You can use light temperature for ironing, please test with a swatch sent along with your dresses before you iron the dresses directly.
o You can also hire our handy steamer for the weekend, to avoid the nightmare of ironing the dresses.
2. Can you offer made to measure dresses?
o Unless you are measured by a seamstress and body mock-up (Toile) made to fit you, a true made to measure is not possible. We offer semi bespoke service, please ring us on 01473 213034 for more information
3. My wedding is in 6 months time, is it ok if I order 6 weeks before the wedding? So that I don't have to pay the full money now?
o We suggest that you e-mail us with your order details, where if your wedding date is more than 4 months away, we will send you a PayPal invoice for 50% of your order. You can pay normally like you pay online. This way you will secure the workshop space, and there will not be any last minute disappointments. When the order is ready to be shipped we will take the rest of the 50% deposit before posting the dresses.
4. I browsed your website last month with my bridesmaids, and we have made a decision on style, I tried to order, but it shows as out of stock on your website? Please help?
o Please do not leave ordering till the last minute, it shows out of stock, when our fabric stock is finished any time during the year.
o Because this is a website order available through the UK, we can't predict who will order at what time of the day. Please ring us on 01473 213034, we will do our best to help you.
5. Do you use child labour? Or do you get these dresses made in a sweat shop?
· Our label carries a special message that all Izzi Izaiah dresses are made in our ethically run workshop in south India, these dresses are made by people who were trained by our own designer Seema Izaiah, who are well paid and no we do not employ any children.
